Located in Silicon Valley, California, Foothill + De Anza are community colleges (2-year institutions) where you will complete the first two years of your Bachelor’s degree program and then transfer directly into the third year at any university in the U.S. and beyond. After two more years of study, you will be awarded your Bachelor’s degree by the transfer university. Our affordable annual international tuition of $8,496 cuts the cost of studying in the U.S. by half. We offer flexible admission, with no SAT, to over 100 majors with individualized support. Our students regularly transfer to MIT, Brown, Yale, Cornell, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Purdue, and more due to our strong reputation, guaranteed transfers and agreements with over 130 universities. In most cases, it is easier to be accepted as a transfer student at a top university than as an applicant directly from high school. We are ranked #1 for acceptances and transfer to the University of California (UC) system and are part of the same education system as the University of California (UCs) and California State Universities (CSU). Our alumni include Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak-Co founders of Apple, Gene D Block-Chancellor of UCLA and more.
We have scholarships for our current students as well as for students who are transferring to a 4-year university. Our scholarships range from around $500-$5000 and are awarded based on a variety of factors ranging from leadership, academic performance, to major. Additionally, many universities offer scholarships to transfer students. These usually range in value and are based on academic merit, need, leadership, or talent in a sport, art, or theatre/music depending on the type of scholarship. Our Transfer Center can assist students who are interested in seeking out universities that offer these scholarships. Unfortunately, we do not offer entry scholarships for new students; however, keep in mind that our tuition cost is less than half of most U.S. universities.
