Located on a beautiful 260-acre campus 10 kilometers west of Philadelphia, Villanova University is the only Augustinian Catholic university in the United States and consistently ranks among the Top 50 national universities in the U.S. News and World report rankings. The institution is comprised of 10,000 students, about 6,500 of whom are undergraduates, in nearly 60 different majors. Students apply to one of four academic colleges: the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Villanova School of Business, the College of Engineering or the College of Nursing. Villanova's proximity to Philadelphia (the U.S.'s fifth largest city) permits easy access to the campus from downtown or the international airport via the local train.
