Merit Scholarships: all applicants will be considered for every applicable merit scholarship at Fordham; no additional applications or materials are required. The most common scholarship awards for international students include our Dean's Scholarship and our Loyola Scholarship.

1. Dean's Scholarship: The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded to entering traditional first-years on the basis of having attained a solid A or A- average, as demonstrated by a high academic performance in the most competitive curriculum available to them.

Recipients are among the top 10 percent of all admitted students. The scholarship is an annual award of $15,000 for courses taken as a traditional undergraduate student at Fordham. To renew the award, students must maintain full-time status, satisfactory academic progress, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and compliance with the University's policies and Code of Conduct.

2. Loyola Scholarship: These scholarships are awarded to entering traditional first-year and transfer students who show high academic performance and leadership ability. The Loyola Scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $12,500 is an annual award which will be applied toward tuition charges for courses taken as a traditional undergraduate student at Fordham. To renew the award, students must maintain full-time status, satisfactory academic progress, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and compliance with the University's policies and Code of Conduct.

We are one Jesuit, Catholic university on two New York City campuses. The Rose Hill campus is situated on 85 handsome, leafy acres in the Bronx, next door to the New York Botanical Garden, the Bronx Zoo, and the borough’s Little Italy neighborhood. The Lincoln Center campus is set on eight self-contained acres around the corner from Central Park, the Time Warner Center, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Our three undergraduate schools – Fordham College at Rose Hill, Fordham College at Lincoln Center and the Gabelli School of Business at Lincoln Center and Rose Hill – are rooted in Fordham’s core curriculum, steeped in Jesuit traditions, and stocked with opportunities for independent research, experiential learning, and civic engagement. Our graduates go on to be transformative figures in politics, education business, literature, game design, the performing arts, and so on.

So, to recap: New York City. Internships. Global experience. Civic engagement. Active pre-professional programs. Expansive research. This is who we are as a Jesuit university. This is what we’re about: opportunity, possibility, a brighter future for you and the world you’ll build.
