Bard College is a liberal arts college with its largest campus located in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, 90 miles north of New York City. This 1000-acre campus is situated on Hudson River with views of Catskill Mountains. Bard has a growing network of campuses and partnerships outside the United States including programs in East Jerusalem, Kyrgyzstan, Austria, Russia and Germany, to name a few. Bard also runs the largest college-degree granting prison education program in the United States, which was started by Bard students over 20 years ago and operates eight public high school early college programs across the United States designed to increase access to high caliber secondary school education. As the first college in the U.S. to create a Human Rights major, Bard continues to build upon unusual programs like these because good education can and should be accessible to everyone.
